Drum gear: Where to buy online?

I just got some soft cases from George's Drum Shop. (Ask for George [img]wink.gif[/img] , seriously!)

He's my first call when I know exactly what I want and I'm not concerned about variance in the product (like picking through a bin of sticks to eliminate the boomerangs or ear-testing the entire Zildjian rack looking for that extra-special K). He knows his stuff and is serious about getting you what you need at the best possible price.

EDIT: In the interest of equal time, I should mention that I buy all of my sticks, heads and cymbals exlusively from The Drum Pad in Palatine, IL, if at all possible.

They have a no-hassle 50% off pricing policy on those items every day of the year, which is fantastic. (Plus, you can go try out your own sticks; they're not guarded behind the desk.) I would recommend them for phone orders as well because the staff is always willing to go the extra mile; I'm sure they'd be happy to be your "eyes and ears." They have been cool with returns/exchanges also. They keep up with the latest products and have way more selection and inventory than your average Guitar Center or Sam Ass (whoops....I meant "Ash" [img]redface.gif[/img] )

I haven't bought drums in a while, but I have heard they offer reasonable discounts. However, honesty compels me to say that they are not always very competitive (or in some cases, simply uncompetitive) on hardware, cases, accessories, etc. Even though the selection may be extensive, it's not uncommon to be charged list price for beaters, cowbells, practice pads, etc.

I agree, George would be a very good choice to buy from. really kewl guy, great drummer too.
For those trivia buffs, George was on the very first Pages record.
If you call him, tell George I said hi.
